Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools is accepting applications for a Full-time Bus Driver.
Working as a school bus driver is an excellent way to earn extra income and deliver a valuable service in the process!
Applicants must be properly licensed to drive a school bus and should enjoy working with young people. If you are not licensed, WDC will train you to get your bus license AND pay for up to 40 hours of training at 19.00 per hour!
Full-time drivers qualify for health insurance, life insurance and a pension.
Salary/Benefits include:
**$27.78 per hour, PLUS $.34 per mile
**$9,600 per year toward health insurance

Wadena-Deer-Creek Public Schools is accepting applications for a Special Education/Child Care Paraprofessional.
This position is a combination of a Special Education paraprofessional and Child Care paraprofessional. Five days per week - Approximately 32 hours/week or 40+ hours/week. Optional schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Successful candidate would work at the WDC Elementary School and/or the WDC Middle/High School. Compensation starts at $16.33/hour for Special Education and $18.25/hour for Child Care.

Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary School has an opening for one full time (1.0 FTE) Special Education ASD teacher. WDC Elementary has a recently renovated campus that serves approximately 450 K-4 students with average Special Education caseloads of 10-18 students. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of building system operations such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting/sound system and basic computer skills preferred.
Successful applicant must be able to work in a friendly, professional manner with all building staff as the requested tasks are completed in a timely fashion.

Applicants must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have a clean criminal background (verified through a background check by school district). Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools has an opening for a Head Track and Field Coach for the 2024-25 school year. Applicant must meet all State statutes required to be a Head Coach. Applicant must have a strong Track and Field background, excellent organization and management skills and be a strong communicator. Applicant would be in charge of planning practices and meets and working with and leading multiple assistant coaches and athletes.

Wadena-Deer Creek has an opening for a Assistant Track and Field Coach for the 2024-25 School Year. Coach will work with 7-12 grade boys and girls in events as assigned by Head Coach. Coach would also be in charge of helping at home and away meets, planning practices and helping with all aspects of the Track & Field program.
